How we create, improve and sell our insurance products

We make sure the insurance products we issue, like car insurance policies, are suitable for the customers they’re meant for. We do this by considering these customers when creating and selling these products. This includes vehicle and home insurance, but not travel insurance*.

Creating and improving products

When we create new products, we:

  • make the needs of customers a priority 

  • consider benefits and value for customers 

  • monitor and review existing products.

To change and improve our existing products, we regularly:

  • review customer feedback and complaints 

  • monitor and review our products.

Selling products

Our insurance products are created to be sold by representatives including trained staff. These staff understand who and what can be covered by our insurance products.  

The products are sold at RAA Shops, by phone (call 8202 4600) and on the RAA website.

*RAA Travel Insurance is not included in this policy because it's issued by Tokio Marine. Read their Design and Distribution Policy (PDF, 202KB).
