  • Can I add a battery to an existing system?

    Yes, but this depends on several factors, including the age of your current solar system and the electrical standards when it was installed. We can arrange a site inspection to confirm if we can add a battery, and to determine the complexity and cost. Enquire online or call us on 8202 8078 to arrange a battery quote or site inspection.

  • Will my battery provide backup power in a blackout?

    Yes, if your battery is charged. We install our batteries with blackout protection, meaning that if your battery has stored energy available, it will automatically provide backup power in a blackout. However, the number of appliances you can run depends on the type of battery. 

    If there’s a blackout, you don’t need to do anything — your battery will detect that the grid is down and begin to discharge power to essential loads within a few seconds.

  • What payment plans are available?

    We're proud to be partnered with Plenti to provide 12 or 24-month, interest-free payment plans² to help you buy and install a solar battery. There's no up-front deposit or cost required.  Longer payment plans with interest payable are also available.
