Working together to fight hunger in South Australia
We’ve partnered with Foodbank SA to help tackle food poverty across the state. Foodbank is the largest food relief organisation in South Australia, providing food relief to over 135,000 South Australians every month.
Since 2020, we've hosted four RAA Foodbank Food Drives across our metro RAA shops, raising close to 80,000 meals for those in need.
Our Mobile Food Hubs collect thousands of donations for those in need
Earlier this month, our Mobile Food Hub visited select shopping centres across Adelaide to collect donations of non-perishable goods for those in need. Donations can still be made at your local RAA Shop until the end of October.
Together, we’re aiming to provide 30,000 meals to those doing it tough in SA.
Can’t donate in person?
You can also donate directly to our Food Drive online. Every $1 you donate provides 2 meals to a South Australian going hungry.
Foodbank also welcomes donations of any perishable pantry items that are in-date, as well as personal hygiene and household items. See the Foodbank website to find out where you can donate.
